Laurence Monnet-Vernier Appointed Executive Vice President, Global Human Resources for Right Management

Philadelphia, PA – July 28, 2009 – Laurence Monnet-Vernier has been appointed to the role of Executive Vice President, Global Human Resources for Right Management. Right Management (www.right.com) is the talent and career management expert within Manpower, the global leader in employment services.
Based in Paris, France, Monnet-Vernier will report directly to Douglas Matthews, President & Chief Operating Officer, with responsibility for leading Right Management’s HR Council and development of consistent policies in the area of human resource management. In collaboration with Right Management’s Group HR leaders, Laurence will also serve as the chief architect of Right Management’s strategic workforce strategy to ensure constant innovation and fresh thinking in the area of HR.
“Laurence possesses significant experience in the human resources field. Combined with her considerable leadership capability, she will be a key contributor driving thought leadership and enhanced brand recognition for Right Management,” noted Matthews.
For the past three years, Laurence served as General Manager for Right Management France, leading the market in delivering client-first, results-oriented talent management solutions. Originally trained as a lawyer, she held HR Director roles in Xerox and also was a human resource leader for Manpower France, the largest Manpower company.
Laurence earned degrees in Private and Business Law from University of Paris II and is a Barrister at the Paris Bar.
