Integrating Coaching Enriches Leadership Development


Client:

Global automotive company, U.S. sales and distribution division


Situation:

In a company of more than 30,000 employees, the client needed to develop high-potential leaders more quickly, as well as achieve the organization’s diversity goals. There was concern regarding the sustainability of other leadership development initiatives and the ability to ensure their effectiveness.


Results:

The second year program, measured by CMS, showed that more than 70% of participants achieved or exceeded individual goals and the ROI exceeded 5:1. The client said: “You made it so easy for us [with CMS].”

Nearly 40% of participants in each year’s program have been promoted at (or near) the end of the program. Participant comments included: “The coaching was the best part,” “The 360° feedback was so enriching,” and “I am so impressed that the company would invest in me in this way.”
