As the global operating officer for Right Management, Doug has full leadership accountability for achieving the profitability goals of the firm. Sales, marketing, finance, product management, technology and all regional operations fall within Doug’s areas of responsibility. He works directly with Right Management’s CEO, Owen Sullivan, to guide the organization to reach its strategic imperatives and ensure its marketplace dominance.
Prior to assuming the presidency of Right Management, Doug lead the corporate marketing, information technology, and product management functions of the global organization to effectively execute the company’s overall strategic direction on a worldwide basis. Previously, Doug held the position of Executive Vice President for the Americas ensuring quality excellence and overall revenue and profit growth for all lines of business across Right Management’s human capital life cycle service offerings. Prior to assuming that role, Doug was Executive Vice President of Right Management’s Career Transition Services, where he was responsible for the efficient and effective delivery of Career Transition business worldwide and the creation of new initiatives and programs to meet the needs of a changing workplace.
Before joining Right Management’s corporate leadership team, Doug managed the largest office in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana region. In his developmental work with senior leaders within client organizations, Doug has guided many organizations through comprehensive downsizing initiatives and has also coached top management executives to achieve greater levels of career satisfaction and performance improvement within the business context. In addition, Doug played a significant leadership role in redesigning Right Management’s worldwide career transition service delivery model for which he received the Chairman’s Award for Service Excellence.
Doug currently serves as a board member for the Columbus Council on World Affairs and the Employers Resource Association. He earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree at Stony Brook University in New York, and has continued graduate studies at Xavier University.
