Engagement Survey Results Considered Key to Organization

Client:

Global management services firm and its four subsidiary companies

Situation:

The client needed a common approach and platform from which it could assess the varying experiences of its employees in its growing business across the globe (72 countries and territories). Recognizing the importance of employee engagement to its ability to generate sustained performance year after year, the client wanted to give country managers meaningful data to assist them in engaging and motivating their employees, as well as identifying problem areas. Managers also needed access to post-survey consulting resources to manage the necessary follow-up.

In acquiring and deploying this data consistently across the organization, the client would also have common data to measure the success of its senior management’s ability to engage their people. This was an accountability the client wanted to incorporate into the global performance evaluation framework and potentially link to manager remuneration. To keep pace with ever changing business needs, the process should be reviewed regularly and occasionally updated.

Results:

Survey results are factored into corporate management reporting as a key business indicator and management tool.

Survey results are provided in a variety of formats so that all stakeholders (global senior management, country managers, individual employees, etc.) have access to the data they need in the way that is most useful to them.

Global engagement level assessed by the survey has increased 10% in three years.
