As Executive Vice President, Asia-Pacific, Ronnie is responsible for the strategy formulation and execution of Right Management’s vision for all markets within the Asia-Pacific Group. He maintains P&L responsibility for Right Management’s wholly-owned offices in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, India, Hong Kong, Mainland China, Taiwan, Japan and Korea, in addition to business-related matters involving Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines and Indonesia.
Ronnie Tan has over 20 years of working experience covering sales and marketing, hi-tech manufacturing, human resources and operation management. Prior to joining Right Management, Ronnie Tan was the Vice President/Managing Director for DDI’s Asia Region. He was instrumental during the last 16 years in building up the entire Asia region business, achieving the best performing region worldwide.
He is a member of the Society of Directors in Singapore and was recognized as the “Most Valuable HR Professional in China” awarded by World Management Review (HROOT). Ronnie Tan was designated the main interviewer in the selection process for the CNBC “Asia Business Leaders Award” for three consecutive years. He is fluent in both English and Mandarin. His views and comments on business issues are frequently featured in major media channels in the various regions.
Ronnie Tan holds a Masters of Business in Administration (MBA) from the University of Chicago GSB and a Bachelor of Business in Business Administration (BBBA) from RMIT University, in addition to a professional diploma in Management Studies (major in HRM). He is a certified British Psychology Society’s administrator for psychological testing instruments.
